Jewel weed infused sunflower oil is used in this highly cleansing bar of soap. Jewel Weed is a native plant with sap that is thought to neutralize poison ivy - Naturalists like to point out that the bright green plant with brilliant orange flowers grows closely to areas where poison ivy exists. Walnut shell powder works as an exfoliant to help rid the skin of the urushiol oil from poison ivy that causes a rash.
This soap is not designed as a treatment for poison ivy rash but should be used as a preventative cleanser. Thoroughly wash skin with this exfoliating soap immediately after being exposed to the poison ivy to reduce the possibility of developing the rash. This is a perfect soap to have on hand all summer long so stock up!
Each handmade bar weighs between 5.5 and 6.5 ounces and is roughly 3x3x1.25 inches.
